Lately, I’ve found myself quietly observing women in their 40s and beyond as I walk through the city.
While younger women confidently bare their skin, some women simply wear a tank top with effortless elegance, or choose a slightly shorter skirt.
They know what makes them beautiful,
and they know just how much to reveal.
Never too much.
Never trying too hard.
Just enough to still feel completely themselves.
That’s why, when choosing clothes, I believe it’s important to trust that feeling of knowing yourself.
Not because it’s trendy.
Not because there’s a certain way we’re supposed to dress at our age.
Not because we feel we should hide certain parts of ourselves.
But simply because:
“I like this.”
“This feels right on me, right now.”
Why not trust that intuition?
There is a particular kind of beauty that comes with age.
A beauty shaped by experience, something that can’t really be imitated.
That is the kind of dressing I find so beautiful.
Perhaps it all begins with something very simple:
recognizing your own beauty.
We are beautiful. We are captivating.
