To keep questioning. And to never give up.

For the past two years, this is what I have been doing in preparation for launching my brand next year.

I have spent countless hours thinking, questioning, and exploring different possibilities.

As I prepare to launch an apparel brand, the question I have reflected on most is:

Why do I want to create this brand?

I felt that simply saying “because I want to” was not enough to face the responsibility that comes with creating a brand.

As I mentioned during my conversation with Maru-chan in Fuku-gatari, the impact of the fashion industry on the environment is far from insignificant.

The more I learned about that reality, the more I questioned whether it was right to introduce new clothing into the world.

Perhaps it would be better not to create anything at all.

I thought that many times and came close to giving up more than once.

And yet, clothing remains an essential part of everyday life in modern society.

Whether I create or not, someone will continue to make clothes.

That is precisely why I decided to keep creating.

Not by turning away from environmental issues, but by facing them honestly and responsibly.

Is this really the right approach?

Is there a better way?

The ideas and reflections I have accumulated through constantly asking myself these questions are finally beginning to take shape.

I’m glad I never stopped questioning.

And I’m glad I didn’t give up.

Now, what remains is to bring all of those pieces together.

And to find the courage to believe in myself and take the first step.

I am still on the journey, but I finally feel as though I can see the starting line ahead.

My brand, Aiguille & Ito, is currently moving forward little by little toward its launch.

It is still in its early stages, but I am carefully building its foundations, with the hope that one day I can share these thoughts, values, and this universe through the clothes themselves.

I would love to continue sharing the process behind the brand, along with the thoughts and experiences that shape it each day.

As the launch approaches, I also hope to share the brand’s path and behind-the-scenes moments through Instagram LIVE and other channels.

If any part of this resonates with you, your support through a like or follow on Instagram would mean a great deal and encourage me as I continue building Aiguille & Ito.
