Why I want to creat a brand that celebrates everyday wear?
It has now been sixteen years since I moved to France.
Surrounded by family and friends, I have shared countless home gatherings, dinners, and simple everyday moments over the years.
And among all those moments, there is something that has always naturally drawn my attention: the way people dress here.
A casually draped dress or cardigan.
Pants with a clean, refined silhouette.
In summer, light bermudas and relaxed shorts.
Again and again, I found myself captivated by styles that felt effortless, yet quietly sophisticated.
Never overly dressed.
And yet, comfort and beauty coexist so naturally within them.
These outfits are not reserved for special occasions.
They simply blend into the streets, the scenery, and everyday life.
Over time, those ordinary moments gradually became the very style I wanted to express through my own brand.
On weekend mornings from spring into summer, French markets reveal this way of life especially beautifully.
Elderly couples dressed as though they were on holiday.
Families enjoying their morning shopping together.
A man heading toward the bakery carrying a basket filled with fresh vegetables, fruits, and flowers.
Neighbors stopping to exchange warm conversation.
Within this slow and gentle rhythm of life, there are also people wearing a simple shirt with effortless elegance, pausing at a café for a quiet moment.
Clothes that never seek too much attention, yet naturally accompany the way people live and move through their days.
A style that blends into the French landscape while quietly enhancing the individuality of the person wearing it.
With Aiguille & Ito, I hope to create a brand that gives shape to this quiet beauty found in everyday life.
