The Invisible Foundations of a Brand

As I continue preparing to launch my brand, there are many moments when I become deeply aware of my own limitations.

There are times when I cannot move forward at the speed I had imagined.
Times when I find myself caught between ideals and reality.
Little by little, I keep moving forward while facing frustration, impatience, and uncertainty.

Building a brand is not only about creating clothes.

It is also about organizing ideas, designing structures, and gradually giving shape to a vision.
It means continuing to express and communicate through words.
It means carefully documenting the process day by day.

These quiet and steady efforts slowly become the foundation of the brand.

Perhaps these are the parts no one really sees from the outside.
And yet, I feel that without this unseen work behind the scenes, Aiguille & Ito could not exist.

Writing a business plan alone, facing numbers, and slowly building the framework and flow of the brand piece by piece.

At times, it can feel like endless work.

Whenever anxiety or fear begins to surface, I try to sort through each feeling carefully and continue moving forward, one step at a time.

There are also days when I feel as though I am standing still, while everyone around me seems to be moving far ahead.

During moments like these, my French friends listened to me speak about my dream of building this brand and simply said:

“We’ll support you.”

Those words lightened a heart that had almost begun to break.

Aiguille & Ito was originally a brand I hoped to launch for Japan.

But because of their encouragement, I have slowly begun to feel that perhaps this brand could one day exist in France as well.

It is still a very small brand without a clear shape yet.

And still, there are friends and companions who continue to support me.

I feel deeply grateful for their presence.

I believe experiences like these are also an important part of nurturing and growing a brand.

Right now, I am still far from where I hope to be.

There is still so much I lack, and so much I need to learn.

Even so, little by little, and steadily.

I hope to create a brand that can one day quietly help someone regain confidence in themselves.

And while building Aiguille & Ito, I hope to continue growing as a person as well.

I gradually share scenes from everyday life in France, along with the journey of Aiguille & Ito.

I am currently working toward reaching 1,000 followers on Instagram.
If you’d like, I would be very happy if you joined this journey with a like or a follow.
